Twilio SendGrid email: send transactional and marketing mail through the v3 Mail Send API.

API key

  1. Sign in to SendGrid and open Settings → API Keys.
  2. Select Create API Key, choose Restricted Access, and give it Mail Send only.
  3. Copy the key. It's shown once.

Add it to your Gateway. It asks for the key:

everyapp provider add sendgrid

Use it in an app

In the app's everyapp.config.ts:

capabilities: {
  sendgrid: { access: "read", why: "What the app does with it." },
},

The app calls SendGrid's API with integrationFetch(), and the Gateway adds the key. Use "write" if the app changes things. More in API providers.

Check it worked: everyapp provider show sendgrid shows the key as set.

Rate limits: Each endpoint has its own limit; answers carry X-RateLimit-Limit, -Remaining and -Reset.
