API key

Open dashboard.exa.ai and create an API key with only the access your apps need.
Copy it. It may be shown only once.

What to create: An API key from the Exa dashboard (the free tier gives $10 of credit a month).

Add it to your Gateway. It asks for the key:

everyapp provider add exa

In the app's everyapp.config.ts:

The app calls Exa's API with integrationFetch(), and the Gateway adds the key. More in API providers.

Check it worked: everyapp provider show exa shows the key as set.

Cost: Search $7 per 1k (auto and fast; lite $4), contents $1 per 1k pages, answer $5 per 1k; up to 10 results included.

Rate limits: 10 calls a second. Per team: /search and /answer 10 QPS, deep search 5, /contents 100.
