OpenAI's models: responses, chat, embeddings, audio, images.

API key

Sign in or sign up at platform.openai.com.
Add a card and prepaid credits under Settings → Billing ($5 minimum). Turn auto-reload off unless you want it.
Open API keys and select Create new secret key. Owned by You, any project, permissions All. Your first key asks for a phone number.
Copy the key. It's shown once.

Add it to your Gateway. It asks for the key:

everyapp provider add openai

To make it the model provider apps get by default:

everyapp ai default openai

In the app's everyapp.config.ts:

providers: ["openai"],

The app calls /api/ai/openai/… with createGatewayFetch(). More in AI.

Check it worked: everyapp ai list shows openai with its key set.
